Girl abducted by Boko haram revealed what happened

â€" Paulina who was abducted by Boko Haram said members of the group would beat them sometimesâ€" Paulina managed to escape from the terroristâ€" She said she was forced to marry a terrorist and she is pregnant with his childPaulina Jabina a young girl that was abducted by the Boko Haram sect who managed to escape has narrated the ordeal she and other girls kidnapped by the sect go through. In an interview with Leadership, Paulina said she was in Sambisa forest for a year before she escaped. She said the treatment from the terrorists was terrible as they were sometimes beaten.
“We really suffered a lot and we passed through a lot of tribulations to the extent that I thought I would never survive the ordeals. We suffered degrading and dehumanising conditions as we received a lot of beating, we mostly stayed with hunger and most times living on fruits. The only time we got something to eat was when the insurgents raided communities and even at that they usually gives us small morsels which we cook in order to survive.“With the success Nigerian Troops are making over the insurgents, the Boko Haram insurgents are now in complete disarray because at a point, we heard their leader saying that he was considering negotiating with the government in order to release the Chibok girls and also heard him a number of times, regretting his actions. Most of the abducted girls have been married offto the Boko Haram fighters while a number of them were sent on suicide missions but even at that, some strong hearted women refusedto change their faith.”She said when the army cut their food supply; they were left to starve for days.“I am glad I escaped but I will tell youthat my escape is more of a divine provision than self-effort. While we were staying in Sambisa, we learnt that an old Fulani man rearing cows had helped two women to escape so we met him and asked for his assistance to help us escape and he agreed. On the appointed date, we sneaked at about 7pm to meet the man resulting in a four day trek to freedom which started on Wednesday and ended on Saturday.“When we arrived Gwoza, we stayed with soldiers for a week before we were taken to Madagali where I learnt that my father had been killed by the insurgents while majority of my relatives are staying in Yola IDP camp, so people helped me with money to come and get reunited with my family members here in Yola.
“I was married to one insurgent called Bana. He is in Sambisa now. They used to beat the hell out of any girl who refuses to submit to their sexual demands. Sometimes they kill or inflict serious body injuries to any girl who refuses to sleep with them.”Paulina admitted that she was pregnant for the terrorist and hoped God will protect her to deliver her child safely.Meanwhile, following the rescue of Amina Ali, one of the girls abducted by Boko Haram, the Civilian Joint Task Force asked the Nigerian PoliceForce to give them he N50 millionreward it promised in 2014

UN Special Envoy on Tuberculosis: Giving Voice to the Voiceless 03/24/2016 07:24 am ET| Updated 2

A giant ribbon will not hang in front of the White House. No marches will be held. The lights on the Empire State building will not shine a special color. Instead, March 24th - World TB Day-is just like most any other day. Little attention will be paid to the fact that tuberculosis is now the number one infectious disease killer in the world. TB has long been the stepchild of the three major global health diseases - AIDS, TB and malaria. A major reason why is that TB primarily impacts people living in poverty, those who are voiceless or whose voices are simply ignored. It is ironic that a curable disease remains a disease fighting to gain attention. It is also ironic that at a time when Ebola and Zika have put our nation on notice about serious health threats, the same concern is not given to TB, which can spread like wildfire just by coughing. We need to look no further than Marion, Alabama to see how quickly TB can overwhelm a city. TB in Marion is now worsethan in man...

SHORT LOVE STORIES

A girl asked a boy if she was pretty, he said "No". She asked him if he wanted to be with her forever, he said "No". Then she asked him if he would cry if she walked away, he said "No". She had heard enough; she needed to leave. As she walked away he grabbed her arm and told her to stay. He said "You're not pretty, you're beautiful. I don`t want to be with you forever, I need to be with you forever. And I wouldn't cry if you walked away, I would die." A man bought 12 flowers. 11 real and 1 fake. He said, "I will love you until the last flower dies." Boy: Can I take a photo? Girl: Why? Boy: I just want to show my children how their mom looked when she was younger. There was a girl named Becca and a boy named Joe. Becca was in a burning house. None of the firefighters could get in the house because the fire was too big. Joe dressed in one of the fire suits and got into the house. When he got up the stairs, the ...
